My name is Javeon Alexis Thompson Shannon. I’m an actor, producer, and musician originally from Saint Louis, MO. In 2017, I made the move to Los Angeles and fell in love with performance. I started my acting journey at Chaffey College before transferring to UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television. There, I earned my degree in Theater with a specialization in acting and performance, and I prepared for my artistic career with courses in the music industry department. I appreciate the opportunity to work with the amazing faculty and my cohort. 

 

Just before my time at UCLA, I was honored to receive national recognition from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in the Irene Ryan Acting Competition. Some of my favorite stage credits include Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing with Bimbo’s Theater Company at UCLA, Action in West Side Story with Rialto Community Playhouse, and Prince Ludovico in The Courage to Right a Woman’s Wrongs at UCLA TFT. I starred in Cedar Mountain as Noah, a student film produced by Mirrorball Productions, some music videos I starred in include High Off You by Hasitha Guhan and a collaborative music video film project by The Royal Fools.

 

I’m a versatile artist who loves to explore through multi-instrument performance with covers on both my soundcloud and instagram, writing poetry and performing at open mics, and DJing. I am looking to the future of my career with excitement for all the new discoveries to make in my craft!
